Lakeland Breakers Outdoor Society is a local, volunteer-driven organization that grooms and maintains a public-use trail system along the North Saskatchewan River between NE 29-55-11-W4 and NW 15-55-10-W4M.  Several cabins are located along the 35 km multi-use trail.

In winter this provides hikers, cross-country skiers and snowmobilers with safe shelter and rest areas.  The winter trails also connect to the River Ridge Riders (Myrnam Club) Snowmobile Trail, which extends to Derwent, as well as the St. Paul Trail Blazers Club and Lac Sante Snowmobile Trails.

In the summer and autumn the trails are available to equestrians, hikers, ATV riders and canoe groups.  Dempsters Cabin and Beauvallon Crossing Cabin are located right along the river for easy access.  The cabins provide shelter and a great place to rest and relax. Canoe groups also use them as an overnight rest stop.

There are two staging areas available to the public.  To access the Cougar Patch Staging Area follow Highway 36 North of Two Hills, turn East on Township Road 554 and turn North on Range Road 114  (NE-29-11-W4).  The Beauvallon Cabin Staging Area is located at Range Road 103 and Township Road 552 Intersection.

Please use respect and watch for other people using the trail.  Maximum speed limit during any season is 50 km per hour.  No automotive vehicles are permitted on trails.
